"We hired Joel and his skilled crew for a large project in May. The results exceeded our expectations. They worked hard, meticulously, and fast over the nine days needed to transform our landscape. My family and I enjoyed engaging with the crew and eagerly watched the creation of our beautiful new yard. The scope of our project called for reshaping the contours of our yard, individually placing approximately 50 TONS of boulders, rocks, and slabs used to create retaining walls, steps, and walking path with plantings and mulch. Joel and his crew expertly maneuvered earth movers up and down our steep slope, considered the position and placement of each boulder and slab, refined elegant contours by hand digging desired shapes, carefully removed old materials, placed weed barrier, planted trees, shrubs, and flowers, mulched the new plantings and seeded the disturbed lawn. Each crew member was friendly, skilled, and took pride in their work. They worked long and hard on very hot days with efficiency and attention to detail. Joel is knowledgable, efficient and conscientious. During the installation, we had a heavy rainstorm. That evening, we spotted Joel in our yard checking on our project for potential damage and evaluating for possible needed corrections. Recently, we contacted him with an unforeseen glitch. He addressed it immediately and aggressively sought workable solutions. Since then, he has checked with me several times to be sure the solution worked.
